Adam is the founder of Polar 993 and has more than 25 years’ experience in funds management, structured finance, property, compliance and law.
Adam was the founder and CEO of Labassa Capital and prior to that he co-founded Merricks Capital. At Merricks Capital Adam was the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Structured Credit.
Prior to Merricks, Adam was a Partner of the national law firm Dibbs Abbott Stillman and was a Senior Associate at Middletons (now known as K&L Gates). Adam practiced as a commercial lawyer focused on Corporations Act, M&A and financial services. Adam retains a Legal Practicing Certificate.
The experience that Adam has is unique as he has worked in the three core areas of funds management being, structuring/compliance, fundraising and portfolio/investment management. Adam has been a non-executive director of an ASX listed company and currently sits on boards as a Non-Executive Independent Director.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from La Trobe University.
Vrinda is the Chief Operating Officer at Polar 993. She has more than 15 years’ experience in funds management, fund accounting and compliance.
Vrinda has very strong operational and compliance experience which has been gained in the United States and Australia during her working career.
Most recently Vrinda worked with Adam at LabassaCapital where she was the Head of Compliance & Finance. Prior to this Vrinda also worked with Adam at Merricks Capital where she was the Regulatory Compliance Manager & Fund Accountant.
In the United States Vrinda worked for the Hedge Fund Amida Capital as the Director of Operations and prior to this she worked as a fund accountant for Spectrum Global Fund Administration.
Vrinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Hons) from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Additionally, Vrinda is also a Member of the CPA Australia.
Simon Feldman is a senior financial services professional with over 30 years of experience across insurance broking, risk management and strategic advisory. As co-founder of Sound Insurance Services, he specialised in delivering tailored risk and financial solutions to corporate clients. Following the firm’s acquisition by Gallagher in 2021, Simon was appointed Branch Director, where he continued to provide strategic advice and integrated financial services. His client-centric approach, commercial acumen, and extensive industry expertise position him as a trusted adviser to businesses navigating complex financial and operational landscapes. Simon holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.
Mark has worked in financial services since 1998 and was most recently Executive General Manager – Real Estate Investment at Australian Unity. Mark was a responsible manager for the AFS Licences of Australian Unity Funds Management Limited, Australian Unity Property Limited, Australian Unity Mortgage Investments Limited and Australian Unity Investment Real Estate Limited. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of New South Wales and is a current member of the AICD.
Jarrod has worked in financial services since 2000 acting in operational, portfolio management, advisory and sales roles. Jarrod was previously appointed a responsible manager at AGP Investment Management Limited. Jarrod holds a Bachelor of Economics from Flinders University and is currently a certified Corporate Treasury Australian. In addition, Jarrod has completed a Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
Debra is the General Legal Counsel of Polar 993. She is a qualified lawyer and is responsible for legal and regulatory compliance. She has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer, managing and operating the compliance affairs of a regulated business. Debra holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.
Rick is the head of fund accounting for 993 Fund Services. Rick has over 12 years’ experience and is a Director of SW Accountants & Advisors Pty Ltd, who are the 10th largest national accounting firm in Australia. Rick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems from Deakin University and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Anita is a Senior Fund Accountant at Polar 993. She is a qualified CPA and is responsible for fund accounting. She has over 12 years of experience in all aspects of fund administration. Anita holds a Bachelor of Commerce-Accounting from Macquarie University.
Pauline is a fund accountant at Polar 993. This role involves Compliance, Registry and Fund Administration Services.
Pauline holds a Bachelor in Science of Accountancy, Bachelor in Science of Accounting Technology and Master of Accounting.
Caroline is a fund accountant at Polar 993. She is currently working towards CPA Australia and has over 3 years in accounting and business. Caroline holds a Bachelor in Accounting and a Master in Accounting from Monash University.
Josh is a fund accountant at Polar 993. He is a qualified CPA and has over 5 years of experience in accounting. Josh holds a Master of Accounting and Finance from University of Adelaide.
Joshua is a Business Systems Analyst at Polar 993. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance at Monash University.
Laura works in Client Service Associate at Polar 993. She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Maynooth University.
